This contemporary bedroom collection is made in Australian Eucalypt (commonly known as Victorian Ash) with Metallica inserts. Metallica is a non toxic metal coating applied to the wood which is then finished in a top coat of epoxy resin. Wood is then finished in a venga colour stain, and finally with a satin lacquer finish.
The Alex Range boasts the following features:
1. Stay shut drawers. Double extension glides allow full access to the drawer and have a locking action. To ensure the drawer “stay shut” system engages, a firm push at the end of the closing process is required.
2. Dove –tailed joints are used in the construction of the drawers for strength and stability with a rebated base for additional security.
3. Drawer bases are lined in felt to help protect your precious items from abrasions.
4. Backs are screwed (not stapled) for additional strength and stability.
